Family data deserves plain commitments.
Shprd is an early-access family operating system. This page is a current-state product posture, not a formal assurance document: we keep family data handling conservative, household-first, and linked back to the legal policies that govern the app.
What we can say clearly today
Built around the household, not the audience segment.
The details below are intentionally cautious. We would rather give families a modest, accurate picture than publish a security page full of claims that have not been reviewed.
We do not sell your family's data.
Shprd is not built on advertising or selling household data. The privacy policy remains the source of truth for formal data handling language.
Sharing starts with the household.
Families control the household context. Church and ministry connections are designed around opt-in support, not silent monitoring of family life.
Access should be permissioned.
We ask before reaching into your content to help. Support, product feedback, and pilot learning should not become a blank check to browse private household data.
AI is being shaped carefully.
Shprd AI is rolling out with parent-guided family use in mind. Local AI remains a roadmap direction, not a promise that every AI feature runs on your own hardware today.
Legal pages remain the source of truth.
This page summarizes posture in plain language. For formal terms, privacy rights, and policy language, use the links below.
We will keep claims conservative.
As Shprd grows, public statements about security and operations should match what is implemented, reviewed, and ready to share.
Shprd brings together schedules, tasks, Scripture, goals, family communication, and emerging AI-assisted workflows. That is intimate household context, so we treat public claims about it carefully.
A church or ministry relationship should support a household only where the family has chosen that connection. It should not imply a pastor, church, or partner can inspect private household activity by default. Read more about that posture on our churches and partners page.
We are also cautious about AI language. Some AI-assisted features are still being shaped and labeled as rolling out. Future local AI work is part of the roadmap, but this page does not promise that current AI features avoid every outside service or run only on customer-owned hardware.

Read the formal legal pages.
This overview is intentionally plain-language. The app-hosted legal pages carry the formal policy language for privacy, CCPA rights, and terms of use.
